Sites
A site in the DRMS is unique combination of Meter ID and ICP Number. Note multiple sites with different meter IDs can exist under the same ICP number.
6.1 Existing Sites
- Existing sites registered under your organisation can be viewed via the ‘My Organisation’ tab. In the top right-hand display, you are able to shift the ‘Demand Response Measures’ display from the default ‘Registrations’ to ‘Sites’ screen. From this screen you will be able to see the names and the kW capacity associated with those sites.
- By clicking on one of those sites you will get a more comprehensive information about this site. This information includes:
- Name
- Address
- ICP Number
- Meter ID
- kW Amount
- GXP (Grid Exit Point)
- Your organisation’s name
- Meter Owner
- Distributor
- Retailer
- Verification Method
- Status
- Flow Direction
- Associated Programmes
6.2 Creating New Sites
- You don’t necessarily need to know all this information prior to creating a new site under your organisation in the DRMS. This information that you will need to know before creating a site is as follows:
- The name you want to call the new site
- The associated ICP number and preferably the meter number
- The load type and the loads capacity
- The verification method you would like to use for the new site
- If you have this information and perhaps not all of the other information listed under ‘Existing Sites’ you can use the following link to the electricity authority website. If you enter the ICP Number and press submit the remaining fields for a new site can be filled.

6.3 Load Types
- The load available at a site is split by load type. The current load types displayed in the DRMS are:
- Lighting
- HVAC
- Generation
- Pumping Equipment
- General Load Control
- Hydro + Storage
- Battery
- Additional load types will be added to the DRMS as the need arises. When a site or substation is saved with a non-zero amount of load for a given load type, it is automatically tagged with the same load type so that this can be searched upon.
6.4 Verification Methods
- When creating a new Site or Substation, a verification method is selected. This method describes the calculation method used to calculate the baseline and load shed after an event has completed. The verification methods currently offered on the DRMS are:
- 3 day SAA (Symmetric Additive Adjustment)
- 5 day SAA (Symmetric Additive Adjustment)
- MBMA (Meter Before – Meter After)
